Continuation of our bus trip. We had intended to get off at the pavement (near Abancay) but it was too easy to stay on the bus.
About 130km to Abancay and the road. Starting at 2900 meters, went up to 4120, then down to 3700, then up to 3900l, down to river at 1800 or so, then back up to Abancay at about 2400. Then in to Cuzco on the pavement, over a couple more passes. The paved ride from Abancay at times looked glorious and I was jealous not to be out there.
